Times Coffee Shop opened its doors for the first time in 1959 in Kailua. The diner earned its name from its  patrons who discussed the neighborhood events or "Times" over an early breakfast which always included the signature fried rice.

Times Coffee Shop is locally owned and operated by the Low family.
